Giraffe Magazine
A free bi-weekly magazine about the pop culture of Thai life, told for fun: each cover put someone in the news, or the topic everyone was talking about, and the issue used it to help readers learn more without the stress. 62 issues, more than 10,000 copies each. I laid out the early issues myself and followed every issue through production, from the idea to proofs, colour checks and binding. It began as a way to advertise Salmon’s books, but that felt biased, so we advertised other publishers’ books instead. We closed it rather than move to cheaper paper to cut costs.
