What I did

A one-person creative team for a fine-dining restaurant in London, Ontario: graphics, photography, social media, the website (hunterco.ca, which I look after) and print, from the daily content feed to the menu photos and the printed menus. I planned and promoted more than 10 events across every channel, on site, on social media and by email. Instagram grew by 2,000 followers, and our OpenTable rating went from 4.7 to 4.9.

2022 to Present

What I did

As Creative Director of the video and social content team, I led a team of 12 and set how the creative and client service teams work. For Prime Video Thailand we built its TikTok from zero to 1.7 million followers, and its YouTube channel has more than 820,000 subscribers. Across every channel we make more than 200 pieces of content a month. I led the team on site until I moved to Canada; since then I oversee the work remotely.

What I did

An internship as a web developer, in a group with three friends. We built a web tool for an exhibit that shows 3D models of art pieces on a Raspberry Pi, and had it ready for a fixed installation date. I was the front-end developer, in charge of the HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

What I did

This is where I stepped into web development. I also went back to the basics of design, alongside classmates from many different fields, and learned things I had never touched before, like 3D, motion graphics and hands-on video editing. It was well worth it, because it built on the experience I already had.

What I did

A social media agency with its own production team, so every piece ran from the idea to the shoot to the post. As Creative Director of the video and social content team, I led both the creative ideas and the shoots, keeping the work on brief. When we started on Netflix Thailand, its YouTube channel had 600,000 subscribers; when our work ended it had 3 million. We also built its TikTok from zero.

UOB Art Around, the art and life journal of UOB Thailand

2017 to 2019

What I did

UOB has backed artists in Thailand for years, with awards and steady support, because art, like money, grows in value over time. Art Around was its free magazine about art only: art events, and young artists worth knowing. I set the creative direction and concept of each issue, planned and edited the content, designed the editorial layout and typography myself, and art-directed the interviews and photo shoots with writers and photographers.

The MATTER News

2016 to 2022

What I did

One of Thailand's first alternative online news sites: serious news without the serious tone, and big topics in plain words. That voice brought in clients from almost every industry, because we could make their branded content relevant to what was happening that week. I focused on that branded content. I also co-created projects with other organisations: collaborations that started constructive conversations in society while telling each organisation's own story. thematter.co

Giraffe Magazine (Banlue Group)

2015 to 2017

What I did

A free bi-weekly magazine about the pop culture of Thai life, told for fun: each cover put someone in the news, or the topic everyone was talking about, and the issue used it to help readers learn more without the stress. 62 issues, more than 10,000 copies each. I laid out the early issues myself and followed every issue through production, from the idea to proofs, colour checks and binding. It began as a way to advertise Salmon's books, but that felt biased, so we advertised other publishers' books instead. We closed it rather than move to cheaper paper to cut costs.

2015 to 2017

What I did

A free magazine about life at UTCC, the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and its most interesting students, made with the university's public relations office. I planned the content and the art direction of each issue, designed the editorial layout, art-directed every interview and photo shoot, and set the editorial direction with the university.

Salmon Books Publisher (Banlue Group)

2010 to 2018

What I did

While I was there, Salmon published more than 200 titles and won many awards in Thailand, for both the writing and the book design. I decided which cover would stand out on a bookstore shelf, found and guided the right designer for each story, and designed many covers myself. We edited the text and set the typography of almost every book ourselves, and I was part of every step of production, from the idea to proofs, colour checks and binding. We were among the first publishers to bring blog-style writing into print and to find new writers among bloggers, and our print choices, such as new book sizes and colours, kept costs down without losing the look. Today Salmon is one of the most popular publishers in Thailand.

What I did

This is where I learned the basics of communication. Communication Arts showed me the many tools people use to get a message across. My major was Journalism, which is about telling stories on paper, in the voice each form needs: newspapers, magazines and advertising.
